Ingredients
- Rice - 1.5 Cups
- Chicken Stock - 2.5 Cups
- Butter - 2 Tbsp
- Olive oil - 4 Tsp
- Tomato Paste - 6 ounce
- Onion - 1
- Garlic - 4 Cloves
- Jalepeno - 1
- Bell Pepper (Chopped) - 1
- Mixed Herbs (Basil, Oregano, Thyme) - 1 Tsp
- Parsley - 1 Tsp
- Paprika - 1 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1/4 Tsp
- Cumin - 1/8 Tsp
- Black pepper - 1 Tsp
Directions
- Heat Olive oil on a Cast Iron Pan
- Add Onions and Chopped Bell pepper
- Add butter and continue sautee
- Set oven to 400F
- Add Mixed herbs, salt, black pepper, parsley, paprika, turmeric and cumin
- Add Tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes or until its well mixed
- Add Rice and cook for an additional 5 minutes
- Add the chicken broth and mix well
- Cover the pan with a lid and put in oven for 30-40 minutes
