Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

  1. Chicken thighs (boneless and skinless) - 4lb (2 Kirkland Chicken Thighs)

  2. Ginger garlic paste - 2 Tbsp

  3. Yogurt - 2 Cups

  4. Red Chili/Kashmir Chili - 2 Tsp

  5. Cumin - 1 Tsp

  6. Garam masala - 3 Tsp

  7. Olive Oil - 5 Tbsp

  8. Onion - 2

  9. Turmeric - 1 Tsp

  10. Tomato sauce - 1 Can

  11. Diced tomato - 1 Can

  12. Coriander - 1 Tsp

  13. Butter - 1 Tbsp

Directions

  1. Marinate chicken in salt ginger garlic paste, yogurt, red chilli, cumin, garam masala and olive oil

  2. Let stay for 5 hours

  3. Heat oil in Cast Iron pot

  4. Add Onions

  5. Add Ginger Garlic paste when onion starts to turn gold

  6. Add Turmeric, Coriander, Cumin, Red Chillies, and Salt

  7. Add diced tomatoes

  8. Add tomato sauce

  9. Sautee for 1 minute

  10. Add Chicken

  11. Cook for 10 minutes

  12. Cook in Oven for 20 minutes at 400F

  13. Put back on Stove and add butter to make it thick

  14. Add yogurt and garam masala and cook for another 5 min

  15. Ready when it cools down after 30 minutes
